Answer: An invitation letter will be sent to selected universities and colleges by UTAR. Your university or college should appoint a lecturer or staff member to oversee the participation process.

This designated representative will be responsible for registering at least one team, with each team comprising 5 students, to represent your institution at the event. The event is scheduled to take place from November 30th to December 2nd, 2023.

If you are a Malaysian student who is not selected by your university or college but is interested in attending the conference, you can submit your registration online through the provided registration portal.

Answer: The MERMC cum IYDC event offers a diverse range of activities, including:

1. Enterprise Resource Management (ERM) Competition, International Grand Final.

2. Workshops & Colloquium on Cross-Border Industry-Academia Education-Collaboration.

a. Workshops (with certificates of attendance) 

• Hands-on with real systems/platform for both academia and students.
• Introducing low-code/no-code ERP customization
• Data Analytics case studies

b. Colloquium: Discussion and presentation among academia and industries

3. Exhibition: Product demo of real tools/platform for education related to ERP simulation and digital economy.

• Students who have successfully registered for both the competition and the conference, with a recommendation from their respective universities, enjoy a waiver of registration fees.

• For Malaysian Students Attending Only the IYDC: Malaysian students who are attending only the IYDC are required to pay a fee of RM80 (inclusive of 6% SST). Additionally, they will need to cover their own accommodation and transportation expenses.
