2023 MERMC International Grand Final and Short Study Trip

2023 MonsoonSIM Enterprise Resources Management Competition (MERMC) International Grand Final and Short Study Trip with Initiative on Cross-Border Industry-Academia Education-Collaboration In Digital Economy

MonsoonSIM Enterprise Resource Management Competition (MERMC) is an annual inter-varsity competition hosted by MonsoonSIM and its partners. This will be our 9th annual event. The competition is a high-energy event involving students and lecturers with the objective of exposing students to the concept of enterprise resource management (ERM) through fun and exciting simulation games. Students in teams of 5-player will be asked to run virtual companies to COMPETE with one another for the highest business KPI targets set for the day to win the competition. There will be so much fun, so much learning, and so much networking to do.

This event will be a competition and also a short study trip (for lecturers & students) with workshops & colloquium on Cross-Border Industry-Academia Education- Collaboration in Digital Economy.

The objectives of MERMC 2023 are to:

  • Link MonsoonSIM (ERP simulation) to real ERP platforms & other related platforms (such as MRP, cross-border e-Commerce platforms).
  • Connect the participants & academia to industries related to ERP & digital economy.

There will be 2 “parallel engagement” of the event :

  • Enterprise Resource Management (ERM) Competition, International Grand Final
  • Workshops & Colloquium on Cross-Border Industry-Academia Education-Collaboration in Digital Economy
